The crews fight with solid fire in the South End Charlotte Nightclub

Charlotte, NC (WBTV) – The crews fought on Saturday morning in a night club by Charlotte with a massive fire.

The fire brigade released a drone video on Saturday, March 15, in which the crews on East Morehead Street near South Boulevard contain the fire in Morehead Social. This video can be seen below.

No civilians or firefighters were injured. The fire caused an estimated 150,000 US dollar loss of real estate and content.

“Setbacks are not roadblocks. They are detours that lead to a better goal, ”wrote Morehead Social Media. “Stay tuned. We will come back stronger and bigger.”

Officials said the determination of the exact cause of the fire was “a challenge” for investigators due to the complete structural collapse.

What happened

Officials said the crews at 7:47 a.m. to reports on strong smoke along the East Morehead Street

Firefighters came on fire four minutes later and accepted the command. The crews reported that considerable smoke came from the basement.

According to reports, the conditions deteriorated and evacuation was sounded at 8:01 a.m. for security reasons. Three minutes later, officials said that a roof collapse was imminent.

At 8:30 a.m. the crews reported that “the structural integrity of the walls was also affected”.

Additional resources were brought to delete the fire at 8:42 a.m. because a third alarm was met.

Officials said after an “intensive” operation, the fire was checked at 10:25 a.m.

“The commitment and quick effect of our firefighters prevented what could have been a much worse result,” said Reginald Johnson, Charlotte fire chief. “Your ability to make tactical decisions under extreme conditions addresses your training and professionalism. I am incredibly proud of your commitment to the protection of our city. “
