TGL playoffs start with the New York Golf Club against the Los Angeles Golf Club

The first TGL season ends with the playoffs, which were lost on Monday in the Sofi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

The Los Angeles Golf's golf club on the top seeds will meet No. 4 seeds on Monday in the first semi-finals.

The winner of each semi-final game returns to the Sofi Center the following week to get a best-of-throat final for the Sofi Cup. The first final match takes place on March 24th, the second and third (if necessary) coming the next day.

Sahith Theegala of the Los Angeles Golf Club awaits the first playoffs with a lot of action.

“The best thing is that you never get out of the new hammer rules, especially with the new hammer rules,” said Theegala. “It's a game with runs. It really feels like a college basketball game. This is the next thing I can describe. It doesn't matter whether they have dropped 15 or 16 points [in basketball]A run and you are right away. This is how TGL feel together. “

It is a reservations of the club's dramatic overtime game on February 24, when Los Angeles GC rushed back from a 4-0 deficit on the 12th hole and, according to TGL metrics, only had a 2% chance.

Theegala made a 28-foot bird cover in the 12th hole to bring Los Angeles GC to the board. Tony Finau, who played with a game contract with Lagc because Fleetwood and Justin Rose were not available, scored two points with a 9-foot bird on the Par-4 13th hole after New York GC had thrown the hammer.

On the 14th hole in Par-3, Morikawa hit his discount on six feet and dropped a birdie putt to connect the score. Morikawa and Finau defeated Fowler and Matt Fitzpatrick in an extension in a competition to win the match. Los Angeles GC won a playoff place with the comeback win.

“It was so much fun,” said Theegala. “I think the thing that has made us the most successful team is only our preparation. It probably feels more than the other teams. Our schedules are aligned and everyone in our team is so competitive. We just wanted to win and hate to lose it.”

Los Angeles GC won four of his five regular season to win No. 1 seed. The only defeat was a 6: 5 setback against Atlanta Drive GC in the extension on February 17th. LAGC secured the top seed as 5: 3 with 5: 3 on March 3.

After New York GC dropped his first two games, he won two of his last three to take the fourth seed in the playoffs. On March 3, New York GC defeated the Common Golf with 10: 6 to qualify for the playoffs. On February 18, Jupiter links GC 10-3 was also broken down.

Los Angeles GC leads TGL in the total holes (27) and the won by unaditements (13). Morikawa (3-0-5) and Fleetwood (3-0-3) did not have a singles match this season.

Fowler and Young are second place with 19 WON overall points. The Wyndham Clark of the Bay Golf Club (which had to retreat from the player championship with a neck injury) is the first at 26.

The club's regular season meeting in the Presidents Day Triple Seader was one of the most exciting surfaces in the first season of Tgl. Thomas has almost a long putt on the Par-5-15. Hole hidden to send the match into the extension. He hardly missed, gave the bay a 6: 5 victory and achieved Atlanta Drive GC his only defeat of the season.

The Bay GC will probably not have Clark for this game after he withdrawn in the second round of the Players Championship on Friday due to a neck injury. If Clark couldn't go, he would be replaced in the Min Woo Lee starting line -up.

On February 17, Lee was decisive on February 17th at the TGL debut at the Bay victory over Atlanta Drive GC. He also set up a TGL Ball speed record with 191 miles per hour before the tea to No. 9. Lee leads the league in the average route (332 yards) and is second in Fairways hit (90.9%).

Clark was the most consistent golfer in daily. Together with the leadership of the league in the total points, he comes first with 21 won triple points and has the top priority with five singles won.

The teams are evenly as the first and second in birdies or better coordinated, the lines have won: totally, around the green and crawling and crawling.

“I think we fill the other's gaps in both golf and in terms of personality,” said Thomas. “We are obviously pretty good. We had a nice run.”

With Aberg, Clark and Lee in the team, it is no surprise that the bay leads to almost every driving statistics, including the average removal of the T shirts (319.7 yards) and fairways (76%).

Thomas leads TGL in strokes won: Puting (+2.79), feet of putts (101) and putts from 12 feet or more (four).

“I think at the end of the day, even though it is a different golf style, it is still golf,” said Thomas. “You have to play better and do it right. Obviously it is more pleasant if you win games, so hopefully we can take a run and win the Sofi Cup of the first year.”
