College basketball crown: first tournament bracket published

Sixteen teams that have not prepared the NCAA tournament will have an exciting alternative: the first college basketball -crown tournament in Las Vegas later this month.

The first bracket for the new tournament was published on Monday morning with teams from the Big Ten, Big 12, Big East and other conferences. Here is who will go to Vegas to play for the crown.

Monday, March 31st

  • Game 1: Utah vs. Butler – 3 a.m.
  • Game 2: George Washington against Boise State – 5:30 p.m. ET (FS1)
  • Game 3: Nebraska against Arizona State – 8:30 p.m. ET (FS1)
  • Game 4: Georgetown against Washington State – 11 p.m. ET (FS1)

Tuesday, April 1st

  • Game 5: Depaul against Cincinnati – 15th et (FS1)
