The National Weather Service in Boulder has published Red flag warnings For a large stage of the state until Monday evening including the San Luis Valley, the Eastern Plains and the front range.

Several municipalities also emphasize fire restrictions, including non -legal Jefferson County, in which, according to South Metro Fire, at least two brush fires began and were included over the weekend.

Winds that continue to influence the fire risk in Metro Denver and beyond that in some areas of up to 70 miles per hour and low relative humidity.

The national weather service said on Monday that Winde has the potential to overthrow both trees and power lines.

Officials ask people to avoid activities that could trigger a wildland fire, including:

  • Open
  • mowing
  • Pull chains
  • Operation of devices that create sparks

A change in the weather conditions on Tuesday brings rain and snow in some parts of the state, but will probably miss Denver and Fort Collins. A drying trend returns on Wednesday before the snow showers reached the High Country on Friday.
