Man who is accused of hanging up two dogs in the back yard of Florida at home – NBC 6 Südflorida

A man was arrested for cruelty to animals after the authorities said that two dogs were found on a tree in a back yard in Florida.

The 42-year-old Salomon Cruz-Perez was arrested in two cases of severe cruelty to animals, which led to death after the disturbing discovery was carried out in a house in Fort Pierce on Sunday, Sheriff's Office from St. Lucie County said.

The authorities had reacted to a call in the house and found the dogs, a man and a woman who were suspended by a tree with different ropes and chains on their neck.

After a search order had been received, the investigators found that the animals were bound around their neck with coaxial cables, paracord, hatchets and chains.

At a press conference on Monday, St. Lucie Sheriff Richard del Toro said that Cruz-Perez tried to let the dogs out of the locking up a few weeks earlier.

“He could only have given the dogs to the human society,” said del Toro. “Very disturbing, very disturbing pictures.”

Cruz-Perez initially tried to say that it was an accident, then the dogs said to kill him in the past, said del Toro.

“I think what he spoke is, they know when they sometimes go on a leash, they are stumbled from a leash. As you know, he took the dogs to hurt him in the past,” said del Toro. “Who knows what his excuses are, but there is no excuse for such behaviors, it is only a very tragic end for these dogs.”

Del Toro said it was not known how long Cruz-Perez had the dogs and how long they had hung on the tree.

“There is no way that these dogs will not only have an accident, said del Toro.” I own four dogs myself, I am an animal lover, only very sad to see. “

Del Toro said a judge had set CRUZ-Perez's bond at $ 60,000.

The deceased dogs were collected by St. Lucie County's animal control and are brought to Orlando to determine the cause, the mode and the type of death.
