Lindenwood will compete in the WNIT colleague on Monday

Fort Collins, Co -Lindenwood Women's basketball will make your debut after the season next Thursday, March 20, when you compete in the 27th annual post of season WNIT, which is driven by Triple Crown Sports. After a 13-2 home record, Lindenwood will organize CT on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Hyland Arena Tulsa (17-14). The Lions received an automatic qualification offer after reaching the Ohio Valley Conference championship at the beginning of this month.

The 2025 off -season starts this week with a flourishing with times, data and locations that are now secured for the 16 round 1 games. Teams with byes in the first round were also determined.

After the tournament officers unveiled the 48 team field on Monday afternoon, the tournament officials published with matchups, locations and early days for the opening round. Of the 48 teams who accepted the invitation, 22 teams won at least 20 games in the 2024-25 season.

Lindenwood comes in the third season in the OVC in the Wnit Fresh Off an OVC championship game. Head coach Amy Eagan converted the Lindenwood program into only its second season. After Eagan published a 7-21 record in 2023-24, he replied with a win of +14, one of the highest record increases in the entire division I this season. Eagan was also appointed OVC coach of the year after led the Lions to a 21-10 overall record and a 16: 4 mark in the conference game.

The lions were led by two all-Conference winners Ellie Brueggemann Who received the first team all-OVC awards. The second security guard from Owasso, Okla, led the team in points this season with an average of 11.8 per game, while he shot 40.9% of the field and 33.5% of three. Their 63 threes led the lions. It also achieved an average of 2.7 RPG, 2.3 APG and 1.2 SPG, while she shot 90.5% from the foul line.

Brooke coffee Was the second lion that collected all-OVC honors. Coffey was the second goal scorer of the Lions on the way to All-OVC Second and Newcomer Team Awards in her first season. She scored an average of 10.8 points per game, while she shot 50.4% off the ground. In the OVC championship game, Coffey scored a team high of 20 points while scored eight rebounds. Coffey led the team to an average of 6.5 per night, while the team added 2.5 templates and 1.0 steals.
