Cafe Ole River Walk Shooting Murder of suspicious

San Antonio – A suspect was arrested in connection with a fatal shootout in the Cafe Ole Restaurant on River Walk.

The 20-year-old Talano Garcia was arrested in connection with the shootout. This emerges from a preliminary report published on Monday by the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).

The shootout occurred on Sunday around 1:06 a.m. in the Cafe Ole in the 500 block of the Walk River.

The police say that Talano went victim to and shot him in the head for an unknown reason and then fled the scene. Talano and the victim were both employed in the restaurant where the shootout took place, the report says.

Since then, the victim has been identified by Bexar County's medical examiner as a 43-year-old David Alvarado. He was passed away at the crime scene.

Shortly after the shootout, the officers were called to a different address after a family member called who stated that their relative might have been involved in a shootout near the Walk.

Talano was arrested at the location without incidents. He faces an indictment for murder. The examination is still active.
