Südflorida sweeps weekly softball honors

Irving, Texas – – The American Athletic Conference announced the winners of the weekly softball prices of the league for the week on Sunday, March 16.

Player of the week
Camille Ortiz-Martinez, Jr., C/1b, Südflorida

Ortiz-Martinez led the bulls to four wins, including a conference on the conference for Charlotte. The junior lowered .545/1,091/.643 and recorded a goal in every game. It was also perfect on the defensive side with 24 putouts and zero defects.

Pitcher of the week
Payton Dixon, R-Jr., P, Südflorida

Dixon threw two complete games for the Bulls, defeated Central Michigan in an excursion from eight Inning and Charlotte in Seven Innings. For the week she threw 15.1 in our innings and held an ERA of 0.91 with a 2-0 record.

Ainsley Lambert, Sr., P., Florida Atlantic

Lambert achieved two victories for the owls and did not allow a run in the two appearances.

Zoe Adebayo, Sr., 1b/C, Memphis

Adebayo led the Tigers to a series victory against Utsa and set up .556/1,000/.688 in four runs.

Maura Moore, Sr., P, Tulsa

Moore achieved a few victories to get the Golden Hurricane a victory against East Carolina, who achieved an ERA of 0.82 in 17 innings.

Lauren Lucas, Sr., From the state of Wichita

Lucas scored a goal in every game and scored a goal when the Shockers won the conference series against North Texas.

Ava Sliger, Fr., P, Wichita State

Sliger threw her first career -complete game in the victory of Wichita State against North Texas and did not allow a deserved run in victory.
