Rodriguez-Gomez is charged with murder and two arrest warrants due to fatal behavior from BASTROP COUNTY.

On December 21, the police received a call for shots in the area of ​​the Ectorf Street and the S Pleasant Valley Road in Southeast.

APD replied to the Chevy Chase Apartments on Huntwick Drive in front of Wickersham Lane and E. Oltorf at 9:25 p.m.

There they found a non-reacting man in the thirties, who was later identified as Damian-Rayas and was sitting in the front seat of a vehicle with apparent fires. It was declared dead at 9:32 p.m.

The investigation showed that he had been shot into the vehicle by a suspect that had fled the area.

Damian-Raya's death was Austin's 70th murder of 2024, says APD.
