Did you know that houses waste around 10,000 gallons water per year of common budget leaks and in the United States per year, which are surprisingly ~ 1 trillion gallons annually? 1 trillion gallons are difficult to visualize, but to put things in the right perspective, you can fill the Coeur d'Aleene Lake (~ 740 billion gallons) to the top and save water! The time to act is now. The annual Fix-A-Leak week of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is back for the 16th year with its memory for the leak check for March! The nationwide campaign aims to raise awareness of the immense effects of simple household leaks and to encourage individuals to act. In just 10 minutes you can quickly check taps, toilets and pipes and catch leaks before you get out of control!

Follow the following leak recognition manual and enter our 2025 Fix-A-Leak challenge.
