Logan Henderson, Chad Patrick candidate for the season in the launch trotation of the brewer after the injury of Tobias Myers

The Brauer starting trotation scored a few hits this spring. In spring it was expected that Brandon Woodruff and Robert Gasser will start the season on the injured list. This has grown when Aaron Ashby and DL Hall were also injured this spring. The most recent injury came on Saturday when Tobias Myers left his start with a weird stress. The news about Myers are somewhat encouraging because he was able to return before the end of April.

As a result, the brewers look for options to start the season in the rotation. The projected starters are currently: Freddy Peralta, Nestor Cortes, Aaron Cival and Jose Quintana. The first time that you need a fifth starter is on April 2 in your sixth game against the Royals. One of these options could be to record Prospect Logan Henderson.

Henderson was in 13th place on the top prospect list of the Brewers from MLB Pipeline and was between Double-A Biloxi (nine starts) and triple-A Nashville (six starts) last season. In his six starts in Nashville, he had a 4.56 ERA in 23 23 Innerings and 26 strike outs compared to six walks. This spring he introduced 5 23 In ours and did not allow a run, together with eight strike outs and a walk. He also begins today's game against the Padres.

Henderson is not the only player who is taken into account for the rotation. Chad Patrick is another player who could have a shot. In 2024 he threw the full season with Nashville and scored an ERA of 2.90 in 26 games (24 starts) with 145 strikeouts and 39 hikes. He has also been released in three games this spring and allows three runs in five innings. This includes six strike outs and no walks.

Both Henderson and Patrick are on the 40-man squad, but were selected from the warehouse. You can return to start and take part in meetings. With regard to their option status, they would officially consume an option year until they spent 20 days in the regular season in the minors.

Adam McCalvy also notes that the brewers have some other options for covering Innings at the beginning of the season. Tyler Alexander, Connor Thomas and Elvin Rodriguez are all on the 40-man squad and still in the camp. You could make all Soton starts or extended appearances to cover Inning early.

If you look at the schedule of the brewers, you could choose to skip the fifth starter as far as possible with off days. However, it is questionable whether they would do that. At the beginning of the season, you can choose to give the starters as much rest as possible to include them in the workload of the season. However, the chances are very limited with four days between the first game on March 27 and the end of April. They have eight games (March 29), nine games (April 8th to 16th) and ten games (April 18 to 27). At least you need four starts from a fifth starter. Paul Dietrich will talk more about the starting trotation tomorrow.
