Residents of Harmony Apartment are in favor of the weekend after the weekend

Madison, Wis. – One person recovers this evening after shot on Madison's east side in the Harmony Apartments early Sunday morning. We met with the residents of the complex after more arms.

This is not the first time that Harmony Apartments was in the news. I spoke to Kimberly, a harmony that lives there for three years, where she believes that harmony is certainly familiar.

“I don't find it as safe as for children,” she said. “They are working on it and their progress is good, but obviously it's not enough.”

Two murders took place in the apartments in 2023, and previously the city of Madison declared it a chronic annoyance. However, it is currently not listed as one, according to the public prosecutor's office in Madison.

“To be honest, I think you are still a nuisance. However, it has gotten better, but I don't think it is a point where you should be from the list,” said Kimberly.

Kimberly says through everything, she has a priority.

“Protecting the children for me is primary. So it is certainly really about it.”

I also spoke to a woman who didn't want to go in front of the camera. She says her brother, who lives in the unit next to the shootout, is lucky enough to be alive.
