Thousands drive to the city center to St. Patrick's Day celebration

Cleveland, Ohio (Woio) – filled with excitement for St. Patrick's Day in the city center of Cleveland on Monday. Wherever they saw, they could see green and families celebrated.

People lined the Superior Avenue sidewalks for the parade.

Lights, siren, bag pipes and clover leaves filled the streets when the parade celebrated one of the past few years in which it marched down the Superior Avenue.

The Kinyon family comes to the city center every year.

They arrived at 7:45 a.m. to make sure they had a first -class place.

“It is a great day for Cleveland. The city comes to life. It's so green and so happy. We just love to come down here and our children also love to get down here, ”said Katelyn Kinyon.

“Our favorite part is to meet well, great people are one of our favorite things. We only meet the best people from all over the world, ”said Patrick Kinyon.

Monday was Carmie Colangelo and her friends were in Cleveland for the St. Patrick's Day for the first time.

“We have heard the parade and all people just heard and have a good time to celebrate and have,” said Carmie Colangelo.

This was the 183rd parade to St. Patrick's Day in Cleveland.
