Tennessee Baseball opened the SEC game with a series with three games against Florida in the Lindsey Nelson Stadium last weekend.

Despite a big step in the competition, the Vols simply continued. Tennessee achieved a 4-0 week with a win on Tuesday evening against West Georgia and then a series sweyep of a top 10 team in Florida. During the week, the Vols were the best team in the country in every ranking, with the exception of one.

D1baseball was the last holdout, but they are no longer. Tennessee is the consensus no. 1 -team of the country after jumping the LSU to end up at the D1baseball ranking.

The Vols won a thriller against Florida on Friday evening, when Nate Snead threw 3,2 Inninging goalless relief for Tennessee to hold the Gator 5-3. On Saturday Marcus Phillips threw seven goalless Innerings, then Tennessee scored nine seventh inning races to get a 10-0 run of the rum runs. Then the Vols overcame a 4: 1 deficit in the series finale to win a 7: 4 victory.

Phillips, Snead and Dylan Loy were fantastic on the hill. On the plate, Reese Chapman, Manny Marin and Gavin Kilen kept the way to the Vols offensive.

Here is a look at where Tennessee Baseball ended up in all rankings this week.
