Since the deputies of the sheriff of the sheriff of Lewis & Clark were involved in the shootout, Broadwater County fills as a coroner.

According to Rauser, the autopsy is carried out in the state crime laboratory in Missoula, and Rauler is waiting for the results for an official report on the cause of death and toxicological.

The filming on Friday left the Helena community with questions about what exactly happened.

What we know is that the incident on Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the courthouse of Lewis & Clark County began when the investigators say that a woman threatened a judge and court staff with a pistol.

“This did not happen within the court building. It happened directly outside. It was within the court of the court building, but this person did not make it beyond our security,” said Lewis & Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton.

In addition to the contractual security of the district in the courthouse, which works similarly to the TSA at the airport, says Dutton that his office has a deputy there. Nevertheless, he hopes to talk to the Lewis & Clark County Commission about increasing security.

Sheriff Dutton said: “It would improve the security of everyone if I were able to include more MPs in the courthouse. This illustrates our concern. There are judges who are extremely concerned about their security.”

The woman was shot after not doing the order of officers and deputies.

According to the Dutton, four law enforcement officers from the Sheriff's office and the police from Helena were involved in the shootings.

The Montana department for criminal investigations examines the incident.

Cases like this can be complicated.

“The difficulty in this case is that we have two crime scenes. One in the courthouse [and the other] where the use of fatal strength occurred. It takes time to interview everyone and get statements, ”said Dutton.

The Sheriff's office and the HPD carry out their own administrative studies, as well as standard procedures.

This is an ongoing examination, so there is information that cannot currently be published.

Dutton said: “People who do not know tend to speculate. They tend to invent their own thoughts. Please do not do that. There are many people who do not advise. Flat wrong.”
