Deion Sanders would like to do something different in Colorado this spring and organize an opposing team for a football game.

Sanders announced that he just tried to move away from the traditional spring game route of playing against his own team.

“The spring game is broadcast on ESPN2,” said Sanders. “We have to sell this thing and pack this thing, because the way the trend is, you never know whether this will be the last spring game. I don't believe in it. I don't really want to tolerate that. I would like to play in spring. I actually want to play against another team in spring. I'm trying to do that. “”

Alabama Football is one of the programs that have taken over the modified spring game approach, while other programs have decided to cancel or change their spring game approach.

“I think I would consider the spring game last year, probably a modified game,” said Deboer in Alabama's first spring week. “We have not divided teams, we talk about the O-line depth, depth and all of these things. So we will see how spring is going. For me it is only something where we want to have the repetitions controlled, want to act and get something out of the practices because I think that all 15 practices we get are really important. I get something out of it and while we go through spring, we will continue to find out where we are to see what we want to do when it comes to the day itself. We want to make it a great celebration for our fan base. We want to make a football out there because we all know that are connected to our program. The fan base can hardly wait, April 12, but we also have to do what is right for us. “

It will be interesting to see what the future of spring -college football will look like in the Forever changing world of College light athletics.
