Neighbors and authorities talk about fatal shooting

Laredo, Tex. (KGNS) – The neighbors in the Cheyenne subordinate are in favor of shots in their neighborhood at the weekend.

The incident led to the death of a woman and left three more, including the shooter, in a critical condition.

The neighbors describe what happened on Saturday evening, March 15, in the Cheyenne subordination as a shock and terror.

Many questioned what happened as shots in the 3900 block of Bannock LN. Exit and the neighbors left litter and cover.

A resident, Mayela Rodríguez, phoned when her sister led her to lie on the floor while the shootout.

Another neighbor, Maria parades, shared the same feeling and remembered the shots one after the other and sounded as if they were coming from a rifle.

The police confirmed that over 100 shots were fired from a mobile home into the neighborhood. One of these balls hit a nearby vehicle.

Fortunately, the owner of the truck, Nicanor Inocencio, was not in his house at the time of the incident.

He later informed what he knew about the victims through his ring camera and said: “I knew her. I have been living there for about 11 or 12 years and have known them since 2011. Every time I saw her, I said hello. It's sad. “

The Laredo police identified the alleged shooter as a 27-year-old Fernando Machado. The department said Machado had a top -class assault rifle and a weapon on him at the time of the incident.

Macado is charged with murder on 20-year-old Frida Castillo, from whom the police believe he was his ex-girlfriend.

“There was a separation in the relationship between him and the deceased, so it was somehow bad at that time,” said Joe Baeza from the Laredo Police Department.

In addition, Machado is charged with a fatal weapon because of two serious physical injury because he supposedly injured Castillos Mother Jorge Castillo and mother Diana Lopez.

Laredo's chief of police, Miguel Rodriguez Jr., said that Machado had a criminal history in front of the murder system and noticed: “There was indictment against him for stranding that our agency presented. We served with an arrest warrant and this indictment was the one who triggered the emergency protection order for the victim. As we know, the emergency protection order was violated. “

The investigators have not yet determined the motif behind Machado's actions. He is currently recovering in a hospital in San Antonio after being shot by Swat officials.

The Laredo police said that further charges should be added in the near future.
