Kansas in the 3rd after a shortened day in Johnie-O on Sea Island

Sea Island, GA. -After only 12 golf ÖHERN is the golf team of men in Kansas in third place at +4 in the Johnnie-O am Sea Island tournament, which takes place in the Sea Island Golf Resort.

Strong winds shortened the game on Monday to just 12 holes instead of the planned 36th Kansas sitting on the ranking with +4, while Marquette is the only team under par at -1. Nebraska holds second place at +1.

“Today we kept in there under fairly difficult conditions. It is easy to see Will King Back and play. He looked a little tournament rust, but got involved and bird his last hole of the day, “Kansa's head coach Jamie Bermel said. “Gunnar (Broin) looked good and shot as high as possible. Luke (Honber) and Max (Jelinek) also played quite constant. Less wind on Tuesday and still 24 holes Golf. We have to be ready to play because we don't have many holes left.”

Gunnar Broin leads the Jayhawks through the first 12 holes and card two birdies and nine pars to end the day with one under par.

Max Jelinek played steady golf and sat on a par after 12 holes. His round was highlighted by a birdie on the 171-yard sixth hole.

Luke Honwiner Also recorded two birdies and ended the day at two over par.

King celebrated his spring time -debut, released eight pars and a final birdie, who also sits on two over Par and for the second day.

Noah Holtzman And Felix BouchardAs an individual, both competed at six over par. Bouchard ended his round with two birdies in his last three holes.

Kansas will play again tomorrow at 7 a.m. CT on the Johnnie-O on Sea Island. The team will first complete the last six holes of the first round before playing another 18 holes and relocating the tournament to a 36-hole format.
