CMPD starts an examination after the video shows how the man is going

Charlotte, NC – The police examine an apparently animal abuse in a video in a quarter of Charlotte. The surveillance video shows a man who seems to abuse a small dog in the back seat of his car.

The video was shared with the police and published on several blog sites that show a man who seems to beat a dog in front of the camera.

“I don't think that should not happen somewhere and definitely not in our neighborhood,” said Eric Harvey, residents of Plaza Midwood.

The video shows that the man holds his gray Toyota Corolla in a parking space behind Midwood Smokehouse in front of the Central Avenue. The video shows how to remove his shoe and hit the dog several times, and you can see the car trembling from the power of the blows.

“I feel like you as the owner responsible for training your animal and having disciplined it in a certain way. But how, not so. Should never put your hands on someone and above all no animal, ”said Harvey.

At some point you can see the little dog outside the car when the man seems to kick the dog several times.

The time stamp of the video says that it took place on Thursday, March 13 shortly before 7 p.m. Towards the end of the video, you can hear people in the neighborhood who tell the man to stop doing it back, but he argues back and even threatens them.

“I do not support animal violence at all, so I think there is no reason to do that. There should definitely be a kind of effects, ”said Harvey.

CMPD Animal Care and Control confirmed that there is an active examination, but did not publish any further details about the suspect or the dog.
