The 23-year-old Silas Zion is charged with the first degree murder, who hinders law enforcement and firearms in Hawaii Island.

A 23-year-old Pahoa man was accused of conveying a murder of the first degree on Friday in the shooting of a police officer of suspicious Christopher Lucrisia, the public prosecutor of Hawaii County, Keltden Waltjen, said today.

Silas Zion appeared this afternoon before the Hilo Circuit Court to try the indictment for murder, together with charges for disability in the prosecution and the crimes of firearms. Its deposit was held at 3,073,000 US dollars.

The accusation of the accomplice for attempted murder of the first degree bears a life penalty without the possibility of probation.

The police arrested Zion in Puna on Friday evening without incidents.

The public prosecutor is trying to capture Zion without a deposit.

His provisional hearing and the application to hold him without a deposit is set for Thursday.

The 39 -year -old Lucrisia, who was suspected of shoting a Hawaii County police officer, died on Sunday afternoon after a shootout with the police in Mountain View. It ended a search that began on Friday afternoon.

The police said that Zion was together with the first Hawaiian bench during the shootout on Friday in the parking lot of Prince Kuhio Plaza.
