The 15-year-old boy who was killed at the shootout in East Oakland

Oakland-a 15-year-old boy was killed in a shootout in East Oakland on Monday afternoon, the police said.

According to the Oakland Police Department, the officials were called in the 1400th block of the 100th Avenue shortly after 4:15 p.m. in order to achieve several reports about a shootout. They arrived to find the teenager, a resident of Oakland, who suffered from at least one firing wound.

The victim was brought to a regional hospital where he was declared dead, the police said.

The authorities did not publicly identify the victim or not announced any arrests on Monday.

An examination is carried out in the fatal shootout.

The murder is the 22nd murder, which was examined by the Oakland police this year. At that time last year, the police had examined 16 murders.
