The 1Edtech consortium published a new comprehensive learning record (CLR) for digital registration information

IBL News | new York

The 1Edtech consortium (1Edtech) published the CLR Standard 2.0, its latest innovations in the digital testimony technology, during the summit of the digital testimonies of the company, which took place this month in Phoenix, Arizona.

“With CLR Standard 2.0 we make login information safe, portable and universally more verifiable. We ensure that every learner has the ability to have and share their services with confidence” said Curtiss Barnes, CEO from 1Edtech.

The CLR standard creates a common way to pack registration information in formal and informal learning, regardless of who makes it available to the learner.

CLR 2.0 improves portability and verifiability, whereby the earners use their login information by using rich human-readable and machine monitorable metadata.

CLR 2.0 is also designed as a verifiable cancellation information (VCS), as defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and is aimed at 1Edtech's Open Badges 3.0 standard, which makes it even easier to share login information between wall pockets.

According to a new report by 1Edtech: “Six steps for a successful login information program: A case study check” are login information platforms that adhere to open standards, one of the six steps that recommend successful login information worldwide.
