2025 F1 Chinese GP time plan and start times

F1 Chinese GP time plan and start times

We are preparing for the first sprint weekend of the season: the Chinese Grand Prix of the F1. This means more excitement for fans and additional opportunities for teams and drivers to achieve valuable points.

Last year Max Verstappen won the Chinese family doctor, and we experienced impressive 53 overtaking during the race. With its long straight and heavy brake zones, the Shanghai International Circuit will deliver another exciting spectacle this year.

The first free training session takes place on Friday, followed by Sprint Qualifying. Then, on Saturday, the sprint begins at 3:00 GMT, followed by the qualification meeting at 7:00 a.m. GMT.

The Chinese Grand Prix 2025 F1 begins on Sunday, March 23, at 7:00 a.m. GMT. About an hour and a half later we should know who won the second race of the season.
