2 Florida Teenager who are missing in a cedar key after paddleboarding: MPs

The authorities said a search for two missing teenagers in Florida, which were most recently seen on Monday in Cedar Key.

Several agencies, including the US Coast Guard, are involved in the search for the girls.

What we know:

On March 17, two 16-year-old girls were reported missing after having not returned from a paddle board excursion, according to Levy County's Sheriff.

The authorities said they were last seen around 4 p.m. to paddle from Atsena Otie towards the cedar key.

Both girls shared a black and white colored paddle board.

The Marine unit of the Sheriff of the Levy County, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the coast guard carry out searches on both the water and from the air.

What we don't know:

Officials know the current whereabouts of the girls, the cause of their disappearance, their condition, how far they may have traveled or what happened after they were last seen.
