No injuries in the multi-home fire in Escanaba, continuous examination

Escanaba, Michigan (WLUC) – According to the Escanaba Department of Public Safety, an examination is ongoing after two houses have caught fire on Monday evening in the Sheridan Road.

In a press release sent on Monday evening, the department said that the officials were sent to the Sheridan Road 915 for two fire houses at 6:21 p.m. When the first aiders arrived at the scene, both houses in the Sheridan Road 913 and 915 were completely devoured in flames.

Firefighters quickly put water on the fire to prevent it from spreading into a third house and a nearby garage.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. Firefighters and first aiders stayed on site for about three and a half hours.

The public security of Escanaba was supported by the fire brigade of Escanaba Township, the Ford River Township fire brigade, the sheriff department of Delta County, Delta County Central Dispatch, Rampart EMS and the Red Cross.
