According to Npr.org, Emory University belongs among 45 institutions, which are examined by the Ministry of Education of the U.S. Ministry of Education for Civil Rights for allegations of racial expenses in graduate programs.

What we know:

The study is based on universities that work with the doctoral project, a non -profit organization that helps black, Latin American and Indian students in business. Federal civil servants argue that this practice could violate titles VI of the Civil Rights Act by excluding students from other breeds.

What you say:

“The pupils must be evaluated according to earnings and performance that are not coincided by the color of their skin. We will not give in to this commitment,” said Minister of Education Linda McMahon in a statement.

Violations of title VI could lead to a loss of federal financing for the institutions involved. The doctoral project replied and said that his goal was to expand the talent pipeline, and that it has now opened its membership to everyone who shares its vision.

Other studies examined are Duke, Vanderbilt, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and New York University. The Ministry of Education has not provided a schedule for its results.

Several schools are also examined for alleged inadmissible, racial -based scholarships and racial segregation.
