After a fire, a resident is treated in a three -story apartment building in the Blue Hills district in Hartford in the early Tuesday morning due to smoke. A fireman suffered minor injuries and the crews are looking for a missing cat.

The deputy chief Kenneth Kowal from the Hartford fire brigade said that the crews were sent to the house in the Sharon Street around 3:30 a.m. and found heavy fire on the third floor.

The fire started on the third floor and one of the two residents on this ground was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation, he said.

According to the fire brigade, a fireman was also taken to the hospital to be treated for a minor injury.

All residents were able to get out of the building, but the crews are looking for a missing cat from the second floor.

The fire was under control in about an hour and a half, said Kowal.

He said that it had a lot of storage on the third floor, which made it difficult to get to the place of fire and extended part of the fire to the second floor.

Kowal said the third floor was completely burned down, the second floor has water, smoke and fire damage and the first floor has water damage.

Thirteen inhabitants, nine adults and four children. are expelled.
