Waukesha Garage Fire contained that are examined

Damage caused by fire on the Kensington Drive, Waukesha

Waukesha firefighters reacted to a garage fire late Monday evening and were able to contain the flames in this area.

What we know:

The call found firefighters at around 11:20 p.m. in a two -story duplex on Kensington Drive west of St. Paul Avenue to find the fire in the connected garage.

Firefighters worked to extinguish the flames while looking for the building at the same time. It was brought under control within 10 minutes and included in the garage area.

No signs of a fire expansion were found. The building was classified as safe and the residents could go back in.

What we don't know:

The cause of the fire remains examined.

What you can do:

The Waukesha Fire Department is reminiscent of the importance of work -child detectors. Test the smoke detectors a month and replace the batteries at least once a year.
