Better together, a non -profit organization that dedicates family life, is to break the employment barriers by keeping a number of background fans up to date as part of his nationwide day of second opportunities. In cooperation with churches across the country – including Florida, Illinois, Ohio and Washington, DC – better invites job seekers and hiring employers to participate in their local event.

The nationwide day of second opportunities brings together churches, volunteers, companies and non -profit organizations to organize coordinated job fairs that promote the power of second opportunities for neighbors who are exposed to employment. In the past, in the past, in homelessness, for the lack of transport or childcare or gaps in employment, these obstacles can include.

“Our nationwide day of the second chance aims to help job seekers overcome obstacles by providing workplace coaching and resources to help them be successful after employment,” said Megan Rose, CEO of Better Together. “With a network of background friendly workers and resources, these events bring hope and opportunity for those in order to achieve independence and financial stability.”

Employers who see the value in the second chances offer job fairs and many are willing to interview job seekers and create related job offers on the spot.

At Job Masses from Better Together, two thirds of the participants receive an interview and one of 1 in 4 receives a job offer on site. Around 70% find work within six weeks.

The church job fairs not only combine job seekers with local employers who offer employment opportunities on site, but also offer resources to facilitate stronger connections and more employees. Free one-to-one coaching sessions are available to job seekers to check CVs and interview skills as well as additional services such as free haircuts and clothing that vary depending on the location.

Almost all job seekers go in their hearts with hope, while the better common model promotes the celebration of their victories. One possibility that is being done is to do the Opportunity Bell that rings when someone receives a job offer or an interview.

Job seekers and employers who are interested in better cooperation for the nationwide day of second opportunities can visit betteretogetherus.org/nwdSC in order to obtain further information on local events and the latest list of participating locations. Job seekers can also write “jobs” on 844-987-3949 to register for a professional fair.
