  • The escalade -iql will have an estimated range of 460 miles and will achieve 116 miles in 10 minutes with fast charging.
  • Production will probably begin in mid-2025 in the GM Factory Null system in Detroit.

Cadillac has released price information for the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL, the long-wheel version of the brand's Cornerstone vehicle.

The variant takes place for almost two years after Cadillac has unveiled its first purely electrical SUV in full size.

From 132,695 US dollars, the price for the fees for the freight fee of destination goods, not taxes, the title and dealer fees.

If buyers initiate the maximum max function of the speed, the vehicle can reach 750 hp and £ 785 pound of torque, said Cadillac. The vehicle could also reach 60 miles per hour in 4.7 seconds.

The SUV promises more cargo space, said managers in a press release and in the Cadillac-estimated range of 460 miles with full charges. Cadillac also expects a faster loading turn, with customers getting 116 miles in 10 minutes of fast charging stations.

Cadillac plans to sell the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL in all 10 markets, including China and Canada, whereby the production for mid-2025 in the General Motors' Factory in Detroit is intended for the factory factory zero system.

Ambitious plans for the Cadillac brand

Cadillac is approaching his goal of having a fully electric vehicle line -up by 2030, an ambitious goal, even without the criticism of EVS of President Donald Trump.

John Roth, 56, Vice President of Global Cadillac, told The Free Press that the brand's vision plan, which was first moved in in 2015, was realized this year.

“When they searched the luxury landscape at that time, they rose brands and really became an animal, and others who have to struggle on the market that I call” plus plus ” – with a sister department that only takes a model and accepts luxury elements,” said Roth. “Do you really bring up a portfolio and a platform from the ground up and make it a luxury vehicle?

The all-electric options of Cadillac are carried out because the company has finally exceeded the pre-Pandemic sales volume.

Cadillac's turnover from 160.204 in the previous year was 2.5% compared to 156,246 in 2019. Nevertheless, it remains lower than the climax of the mark of 235.002 Cadillacs, which was sold in 2005, the highest annual number in a data record that dates back to 2004.

So far, the luxury -EV sales members of GM show how viable the new drive train for customers -as soon as the hurdles of production have been solved. The Lyriq started in 2022 and the US Cadillac dealers only sold 122 vehicles thanks to the expenditure of the assembly lines. In 2023, sales rose exponentially with 9,154 and 28,402 in 2024.

Electrification “inevitable”

If you are using the thinking process planned for the first time in 2015, General Motors would have come to an EV strategy without pressure from federal and security authorities that promote sustainable vehicle production, Roth said because a battery that is wrapped around the platform enables car designers.

“They have cars and SUVs like today because they are no longer restricted by the traditional gas elements from which a vehicle consists,” he added. “A quick relationship with an ice colleague, but with integrated driving dynamics.”

Escalade sales in particular quickly recovered from pandemic, with a total of 41,671 being sold last year.

The new escalade “is literally your own platform, design, cable architecture and outer vehicle design,” he said. “If you put the two side by side, you still have escalade properties, but the IQ is a completely different vehicle than its sister.”

The next vehicles that starts Cadillac will be the OptiQ Compact SUV and a three-row Vistiq SUV.

It is not foreseeable what the rest of this year does, especially with the first cannons explosions of a trade war that fires this week. Nevertheless, as always there is optimism in the auto industry, and Roth is looking forward to the next five years.

“Every large milestone of the innovation meant volume growth and brand growth for General Motors,” he said.
