Waco, Texas: Baylor Football announces the attitude of three new support employees

Kaeron Johnson, Connor Killian and Jadyn Wells compete to the Bears staff before the spring practice season.

Waco, Texas – Three new members have joined the Baylor Football Staff, the university announced.

According to reports, Kaeron Johnson will take on the role as deputy athletics director of football relationships.

Johnson is a former Baylor Bear himself and plays defensive lineman for the team from 2009 to 2012. He joins the Baylor employee after working as head coach at Waco University High School. Previously, he also worked as a deputy head coach and defensive coordinator at the Midway High School.

As an assistant ad for football relationships, Johnson will report on relationships with the Texas High School Coaches Association.

Killian competes to the team after working in the last two seasons as an assistant offensive -line trainer at the University of North Texas. Killian also spent a season as an assistant Tight End trainer at Louisiana Tech in 2022 and as a Quality Control Coach at Texas Tech in 2021, said Baylor.

During his time at Texas Tech, Killian reported reportedly with the offensive and special teams and served as an interim special team coordinator for the Liberty Bowl 2021.

According to Baylor, Wells comes to Baylor after working as an assistant in the Texas Tech football offices in the past six years. Wells has a Bachelor sports management from Texas Tech and is the daughter of Matt Wells, the former head coach of Utah and Texas Tech and current Associate coach and offensive coordinator at Kansas State, said Baylor.
