The 2025-26 service plan from Nevada Basketball has already shook

On weekday morning, Nevada Sports Net will repeat three large headlines of the day in his morning download. Read below for today's topics.

1. The 2025-26 list from Nevada Basketball has already shook

The Wolf Pack men's basketball team opened the low season with bad news when Nick Davidson, the team's best return player, said he would enter the transfer portal. Davidson is a two-time all-mountain west award winner and was the third-party goal scorer who remained among the MW players after scoring an average of 15.8 points per game as a red shirt junior. Nevada talked Davidson in his true first year to preserve a more productive senior season. This senior season now looks like it is coming elsewhere because Davidson is one of the best big men in the transfer portal. Here is an overview of the 2025-26 squad to Nevada Post-Davidson, which includes only two players who achieved more than 2.5 points per game in Justin Mcbride and Tyler Rolison last season.

2. Wolf Pack and Field Star sets the national record

Annalies Kalma, a junior in Nevada athletics team, was certified as a national record holder for the 400 -meter sprint for her New Zealand. Kalma organized a personal time of 53.41 seconds in the 400 championship in the MW championships in the MW Championships at the beginning of this month. Kalma comes from Hamilton, New Zealand, where she fought around the St. Peters School Cambridge. In 2023 she received all-American honorary mention as a newcomer in the 4×400-meter relay team from Nevada, which took 18th place in the nation.

3. Mountain West's run at the NCAA tournament begins

The MW run at the NCAA tournament now begins with the state of San Diego, who plays in Dayton, Ohio, North Carolina in a first four game at 6.10 p.m. San Diego State made it to the NCAA Championships game in 2023 and returned to Sweet 16 in 2024 and lost both times against Uconn. The Aztecs have achieved the greatest success of an MW team in the NCAA tournament since 2011 and won 13 games in Big Dance. The winner of the game of San Diego State-North Carolina plays No. 6 Saatgut Ole Miss in the first round. The MW has three other teams in the tournament in New Mexico No. 10, No. 10 Utah State and No. 12 Colorado State. An overview of the MW teams in the post -season is here.
