In an investigation, it was found that a 911 caller on December 1st reported that Escalera saw it with a chains' time in the River Glen of St. Charles, a high -ranking residential complex, said the public prosecutor's public prosecutor's public prosecutor.

The first officer to arrive at the scene met Escalera, who was near several residents, at the door to the cafeteria of the facility.

The video shows the officer who shows his taser and demands that Escalera drops the chainsaw. Instead, Escalera entered the cafeteria and began the chainsaw.

The officer then started his taser and beat Escalera in the chest. The Taser put it down for a short time and rose again, reached for the chainsaw and ran towards the officer.

The official came into the lobby and he and a second officer returned to the cafeteria. A third officer followed Escalera through a secondary door of the cafeteria and finally back into the lobby.

There Escalera held the chainsaw over her head and stormed towards an officer. The official shot two shots that Escalera missed. Escalera then collided with the officer, hit him with the chainsaw and dropped it. The officer fired a third shot when Escalera fled a hallway and hit him in his arm.

When he reached the hallway, Escalera held on the right of an older inhabitant in a wheelchair, turned to the officers and held his hands forward in a position that seemed to imitate a weapon.

The officer shot a fourth shot and hit Escalera into her chest. Escalera immediately collapsed to the ground. The officers tied him up with handcuffs before medical treatment.

Paramedics arrived and transported Escalera into the Delnor Hospital, where he was declared dead.

The Coroner's office of Kanes County said Escalera, who died of the fires he had suffered, also had a methamphetamine poisoning. Toxicological reports showed amphetamines, methamphetamines and olanzapine in the escaleras system.

Escalera came from West Central Indiana, and the police never found a connection between him and the house. He had a long crime story.

The state's public prosecutor said that the police officer of St. Charles, who fired shots, had “the reasonable conviction that the fatal force he started was necessary to prevent death or a large bodily harm for himself or other people”. The office did not find misconduct by the officials involved.

The Von Escalera family provided the opportunity to check the video to the public before it was published, the public prosecutor said.

No residents were injured in the incident.
