The 2025 MLB season begins with a showdown between the defending champion of the World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs in a two-game series in Tokyo, March 18 and 19.

It is the first time in over 60 years that these two teams will meet on the opening day. The Dodgers, one of the most successful franchise franchise companies of the Major League Baseball, secured their eighth championship victory last year and have taken part in the new season as the team.

In the meantime, the CUBs still have one of the most passionate fan bases in sports and still appreciate their title in 2016, which ended a 108-year-old championship door.

Added to this is the series for the Japanese stars of Dodgers, Shohei Ohtani and Rōki Sasaki, will be a return home that will have the opportunity to present their talent in front of home fans. This is the sixth time that Japan organizes the MLS season start.
