🎾 Tiger win the last game against Edge Cougars

Sioux Falls, SD – Fort Hays State Tennis organized his overall victory series on six games on Tuesday by repressed the University of Sioux Falls. The Tigers and Cougars played the game in the Huether Family Match Pointe in the interior. The competition went to the last remaining singles match, which Grace Unruh of Fhsu gained in an exciting way.

Fort Hays State took the first point in the game by winning two out of three double competitions. The Tigers won the first team point when Irina Alfonso and Suzana Faucz and the No. 3 team from Ines Latorre and Yone Pereiro won 6-3 each. Team No. 1 by Janae Montoya and Shretethika Vangala lost 6-4.

FHSU drew a 3-1 lead with two of the first three singles games that ended. Bethan Gill won her No. 5 game 6: 4, 6: 4, while Faucz took a three-set competition 3: 6, 6-1, 1: 0 (10-4). Pereiro dropped her No. 4 match 6: 2, 6-6. The Cougars went out of the team by winning the singles games No. 1 and No. 2. Vangala fell to No. 1 7-5, 6-3, while Alfonso fell in 26-3, 4-6, 1-0 (10-6). The team result came back to the No. 6 competition between Unruh and Katelyn Nesim from Sioux Falls. Unruh fell 6: 4 in the first set, but in the second gathered for a 6-1 win to force a tiebreaker set. Unruh pulled back in the last framework for a 10: 5 victory to raise the tiger to win.
