The suspect in connection with the Interstate 10 shootout arrested

Phoenix – A suspect was arrested in pace in connection with a shootout near Autobahn 10, which according to Tempe Police Department injured two people.

The incident began when a 34-year-old man supposedly stood on the side of the highway and waved a weapon. The man then fired shots and hit a passing vehicle. The driver who was not injured by the shots left the highway and contacted the police.

The man then fled to the parking lot of the Tempe Diablo Stadium before entering the Marriott Phoenix Resort Tempe on the butt.

Upon arrival in the resort, the man confronted two hotel employees and ordered them to the ground before firing several shots that they hit. According to the authorities, the injuries are considered not life -threatening.

The man then fled through the resort and tried a woman to Carjack who could flee from the car. The police were able to find the man and arrest him without further incidents.

The crime caused temporary blocking of the right lane of the Interstate 10 to the east to Broadway. The hotel was also evacuated due to the incident.

The Arizona Ministry of Transport initially warned the public that the blockade was caused by law enforcement activities.
