Russia started 267 drones in Ukraine – Ukrainian army over the night

Russia started 267 drones in Ukraine over the night, a “record” since the invasion of February 2022, said the Ukrainian Air Force on Sunday.

The spokesman for the Air Force, Yuriy Ignat, called the 267 drones that were seen “a record for a single attack” between Saturday and Sunday since the invasion began almost three years ago.

Among them were intercepted by 138 air defense, while 119 were “lost” without causing damage, he said in a post on Facebook.

He did not say what happened to the remaining 10, but a separate explanation of the armed forces to Telegram said that several regions, including Kyiv, had been “hit”.

A Russian rocket attack on Saturday had a man in the central town of Kryvyi rig and five more wounded, the regional authorities said on Sunday.

In order to try to prevent daily Russian strikes, Ukraine has tried throughout the conflict to disturb Russian logistics far away, especially through direct attack by military bases and industrial sites in Russia itself.

Twenty Ukrainian drones against Russia were “destroyed” overnight, the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a Sunday report.

Russia fell into Ukraine on February 24, 2022. The Kremlin claimed that the goal was to protect itself from the threat of NATO expansion.
