1 dead 1 in custody after shooting Covington County

Covington County, Ala. (WSFA) – A man was arrested after he allegedly fired and killed a family member, according to the Covington County's sheriff office.

William Morgan, 60, is accused of fatal Robert Morgan on Tuesday. The sheriff's office said exactly how the men were related.

According to CCSO, the MPs reacted to reports on the Oscar Pugh Road fired shots at around 8 p.m.

Morgan initially refused to give up, which led to a patient situation, but finally resulted in the police without incidents.

Robert Morgan was brought to the Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp, where he finally succumbed to his injuries.

William Morgan is recorded in the Covington County prison under a bond of 500,000 US dollars.
