1 injured in North St. Louis Shooting; Murder detectives requested

The shootout took place on Tuesday at 8 p.m. near Gregory J. Carter Park.

St. Louis – A man was critically injured at a shootout on Tuesday evening in North St. Louis, which was for an examination of murder.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the officials reacted to a shootout on Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the 5900 block of the Lalite Avenue on the border of Walnut Park East and Walnut Park West near the Gregory J. Carter Park.

The police said the victim was critically injured in the shootout and murder detectives were called on site.

The investigation continued from Tuesday evening, and there were no suspects at large, the police said.
