One person is dead after a domestic argument was escalated into a shootout in Northeast -Oklahoma City on Tuesday evening.

According to Oklahoma City police, the dispute occurred shortly after 11 p.m. near Northeast 16th Street and the Homa Avenue.

OCPD said that there was a shoot in a house in the area and a person is now in custody.

No names were published at this point.
