1 suspect, 2 others searched in several burglaries in several vehicles

Williamson County, Ill. (KFVS) – An examination of several burglaries in Williamson County leads to an arrest and a search for two other suspects.

William A. Reed was arrested on Tuesday, March 4, in his house in the 100 block of the California Street in Carterville.

The investigators said they had hidden in a bathroom shower.

He was admitted to the Williamson County prison.

Reed becomes the possession of a stolen firearm, the possession of stolen property, two break-in cases, violation of the pre-judicial release, possession of cannabis, possession of drug utensils, possession of ammo-no-foid card, possession of firearms, foid, possession of another debit/credit card and possession of stolen or possession of stolen or possession of stoles or possessions of stolen or possession of stolen or possession of stolen or possession of stolen or possession of stolen or possession of stolen or possession of stolen or possession.

The Williamson County's sheriff office said additional charges are likely.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Reed was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant for a break -in from Jackson County and in connection with an examination of several burglaries in the northwest of Williamson County.

The sheriff's office said weapons, clothing, personal identification, credit/debit cards and other personal items were stolen from vehicles on the Lady Bug Lane and the Dragon Fly Lane in the night hours from February 15.

The investigators learned that three suspects used a stolen credit/debit card in the Raawi in Carterville in the General Store in Carterville in the General Store in Carterville in the early morning and identified Reed as one of the suspects.

They ask for the help of the public to identify the other two suspects that are recorded on the surveillance cameras of the business. Anyone who recognizes the suspects is asked to contact the Sheriff's office by Williamson County under number 618-997-6541.

After they had identified Reed as a suspect, the MPs went to his house in Carterville and reported to find a vehicle that was stolen near his house from Marion on March 4.

The investigators were then called and later made of custody.

When they searched the house for Reed, the investigators said they noticed stolen property.

The rest of the house was then searched.

The Sheriff's office said that the investigators had found and regained a “considerable amount of stolen property”, including weapons, computers, personal identification, credit/debit cards and other personal items. Medicines, drug utensils, hypodermal syringes and digital scales were also found in the household.

The investigators believe that the restored stolen objects from the house lead to a closure of almost a dozen open burglary in the entire Williamson County.
