A fire in a condominium in the Upper Valley left almost a dozen people without home on Tuesday morning.

Hartford's fire brigade said they were in the oak knoll shortly before 6:30 a.m.

The crews found a two -story building with 8 units with a fire from an apartment on the second floor. You could lay the fire on shortly before 7 a.m.

Firefighters had initially heard that several adults and a child were caught in the building, but everyone could certainly be evacuated.

The cause of the fire is currently being examined. Eleven people, including three children, were displaced after four units in the building were considered uninhabitable due to smoke and fire damage. Volunteers from the American Red Cross help the victims to find temporary apartments.

The surrounding departments from Lebanon, Hanover, Windsor and Woodstock were able to support the reaction.
