14 swimmers and divers, which can be seen in section 1, meet this week – Post Bulletin

Section 1, class 2a and section 1, boys in class 1a swim and dive after the season this week. Here are some of the top swimmers and divers in every section that you can keep in mind.

The junior won the 100-yard breast swimming (57.57) and At the Big Nine Conference Meet on February 16, the 200 Yard individual Medley (1: 55.50) finished second. from 3: 14.79. Bargfrede swam the season with Eli Holmes, William Truskowski and Everett Nord. Last season he received all-state honors in the 100-breast Hutschen and the 400 Free Relay.

William Truskowski, century

Truskowski is another member of Century's Impactful Junior Class. He was able to qualify for the state in the 200 in the 200, which he won at the Big Nine meeting with a time of 1: 55.20. Truskowski also took third place in the 100-yard butterfly (50.79) and was part of the profit 400 freestyle relay team at the conference meeting.

The junior took the freestyle of 100 yards (48.11) in the 50-yard freestyle (21.82) and in the Big Nine Meet. In addition to his teammates Eli Holmes, Owen Kelly and Everett Nord, Linden also won the 200 Yard freestyle relay (1: 26.78). He was appointed as a student as a student in the second year in 200 Free Relay and in the 400 Free Relay.

The junior took third place in the 100 Free (48.27) and the 200 Free (1: 48.01) at Big Nine Meet. Holmes was also in two winners teams at the meeting – the 200 Free and the 400 Free. Like Linden, Holmes made all-state in the 200 free and 400 free seasons in the 200 free and 400 free seasons.

The all-State senior took the 50-Frree (21.84) and fourth place at 100 Free (48.47) at the Big Nine Meet. Kelly was also in the winning 200 free relay team.

Sophomore is the best chance of leasure to qualify for his first state meeting in which 100 are free. He was crowned the champion at Big Nine Meet and entered 47.42. The leasure took second place in the 200 free (1: 45.65) at Meet and was both at 200 free relay (1: 28.48) and the 400 teams for free season (3: 22.65)) third place.

The William Leasure from Mayo will compete on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the Century High School in Rochester in the Varsity 500 Freestyle race during a boy swimming and diving between Mayo and Red Wing.

Senior Nicklaus Gustafson finished third in the Big Nine Meet in Freestyle 500 (4: 59.50). He was also in the 400 Free Relay Team, which besides Leasure, Ben Weingarten and Eoin Porrata.

Wagstaff, a student, wants to qualify for his third meeting in a row in a row. He finished third at the Big Nine meeting with a score of 366.25. Wagstaff took place as an eighth grader last season at class 2a and 16.

The Silas Wagstäff from Century will conduct a backpike at the Century High School in Rochester on Thursday, January 25, 2024, which swim and dive between Century, John Marshall and Albert Lea.

If & where: The swimming templates in section 1, class 2a are on Wednesday, February 26th, at 6 p.m. and the swimming final on Friday at 6 p.m., February 28th. Both rounds will take place in the Rochester Recreation Center. The diving event will take place on Thursday, February 27, at 5:30 p.m. at the Century High School.

On the line: The two best finisher in every 2A swimming events earn state berths. Every swimmer that reaches a preset time standard also increases. The top divers also qualify for the state meeting.

Junior Brent Dahl won the 100-yard backstroke (51.33) at the Big Nine Meet and set a pool record in the event. He also took fourth place in the 100 -butterfly (52.51). Dahl was appointed All-State in the 200 IM and 500 Free last season. He is back in 100 and No. 2 in the 200 -M meeting in advance.

Alessandro Paladini, Winona

At the Big Nine, the senior took second place in the 100 breast plines (58.05) and in 200 in (1: 59.17). Paladini was also part of the 200 Medley Relay team from Winona, which took third place (1: 41.73) And the 400 Free Relay team that took the fourth (3: 24.44). It is the No. 1 seed in the section both in the 200 in and in the 100 breast.

Matthew Baumgartner, Winona

The second second place took fourth place in the 100 -breast -hooch at the Big Nine Meet (1: 01.78). Baumgartner acquired in the same event in the same event last season as a newcomer. He was also in Winonas 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay teams who took third or fourth place. It is sown third place in the 100 breast in the 100 breast and in the 100 -Free for the sections.

The senior citizen was fourth in the Big Nine Meet in 100th backstroke (57.37). Bricco is sown fifth in the section in 50 free and third in the 100th back. He was also at the meeting in Winonas 200 Medley and 400 -Free -Season teams.

The all-State diver won the diving event at the Big Nine meeting with a score of 553.15. The junior became in the state of class 1a in the state of class 1a last season.

Junior Landen Nelson finished second while diving at the Big Nine Meet (370.90). He took ninth place at the end of last season, just one place before the all-state status.

If & where: The swimming preparations in Section 1, Class 1a are on Wednesday, February 26, at 12 p.m. and the swimming final on Friday, February 28th. Both rounds will take place in the Rochester Recreation Center. The diving event will take place on Thursday, February 27, at 5:30 p.m. at Northfield Middle School.

On the line: The three best finisher in every 1a deserve state creation. Every swimmer that reaches a preset time standard also increases. The top divers also qualify for the state meeting.
