16 injured in Oakland Home

Pittsburgh –

The roof over a veranda collapsed early Friday evening in a house in Pittsburgh's district of Oakland. Pittsburgh's public security reported that 16 people were injured.

Video that shows that the Veranda roof collapses, with the people and below, was sent by the parent of a student of the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburghs Action News 4.

Sky 4 flew over the scene in the Semple Street and showed the veranda and the roof on the floor in front of the house.

Several police and EMS vehicles reacted. Sky 4 video showed a person on a stretcher.

According to a spokesman for public security, three patients were in a serious but stable state.
