2-alarm fire burns through the roof on West Village, the Manhattan apartment building

West Village, Manhattan (WABC) – A two-alarm fire broke out in a residential building in West Village on Wednesday morning.

The fire started shortly before 7 a.m. on the roof of the building in the Bank Street

The fire seems to be in a terrace structure at the top of the building.

It took about an hour to extinguish the fire.

It is not yet known whether someone has been injured.

The cause of the fire is examined.
