Miami Gardens, Fla. (WSVN) – After a shootout, two people were taken to the hospital at a gas station in Miami Gardens.

The police from Miami Gardens and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue reacted to the 2700 block of Northwest 168th Street on Tuesday evening.

On arrival, officers found two men who suffered from several gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to a local hospital through air and ground.

Officials said the topic fled from the scene in an unknown direction.

An investigation that led to the shootout is in progress.
