2 injured in shot in Southeast Colorado Springs, says the police | News

The Colorado Springs police examined a shootout in which two people were injured on Saturday, the law enforcement officers said.

Officers of the Sand Creek Division of CSPD were sent in a shot call from 8:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of the Sonoma Drive, where, according to the police, they found a person who suffered from a gunshot wound. The officials provided medical help until medical staff arrived and brought the victim to a local hospital.

Around 8:20 p.m. Gold Hill Division, officials reacted to a report by a person who was taken to a hospital with at least one firing wound, said officials. After collecting and comparing information from the two shootings, the investigators found that they were related and both shootings took place on the Sonoma Drive.

Both victims are expected to survive, the police said. No suspicious information was published by Sunday morning.
