On the second day of the Big Ten tournament, Chalk re-ruled outstanding, since each team with a higher seed put their opponent with a lower seed to reach the quarter-finals in the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

No. 8 Saatgut Oregon started the day with a decisive victory against No. 9 seeds Indiana. Later a day, Wisconsin No. 5 defeated Saatgut No. 13 Northwestern 70-63.

No. 7 Seed Illinois has put together one of the best offensive in the history of big ten tournament with a 106-94 win against IOWA. At the Fighting Illini, all five starters scored double -digit points in the victory.

In the last game of the day, the No. 6 rally Purdue rally was dropped to 14th place in USC, 76-71. The boiler makers were up to 10 points in the first half, but received a great performance by Big Man Trey Kaufman-Renn in the comeback victory.

The quarter -finals on Friday will be full of fascinating matchups. In the first game, Oregon's start against the spoiler against big ten regular season champions Michigan State, who shortly followed Ucla-Wisconsin. The evening slate will show that Maryland looks against Illinois and Michigan against Purdue.
