Big ten tournament championship history

Illinois is the defending champion when No. 2 Illini climbed number 5 Wisconsin in the title game last season, but was eliminated by Maryland on Blowout fashion on Friday evening.

The state of Michigan won most of the titles with six. The Spartans recently won the Big Ten tournament in 2019.
