2025 Cleveland Metroparks Race Series: full event plan

Cleveland – The Cleveland Metroparks racing series comes back for another year.

The 2025 racing row returns with a four five-kilometer run/walk race over several Cleveland metroparks locations, “promote exploration and movement all year round”.

This year's series begins with the annual Earth Day 5K in the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on April 19 at 8:30 a.m. Preliminary registration for this race is now available until the day before the event. The runners receive free admission to the zoo, refreshments, an individual racing shirt and a finisher medal.

“We are pleased to continue the tradition of the Cleveland Metroparks racing series thanks to the strong support of the CrossCountry mortgage,” said Brian M. Zimman, CEO from Cleveland Metroparks. “The series is a fantastic way for the participants to experience the beauty of our parks and to connect with nature, wild animals and our parking community. Remain up to date for three more special racing bundles in the course of this year.”

According to Cleveland Metroparks, part of the revenue from the Earth Day goes towards “environmentally friendly practices and sustainability efforts in the zoo”.

The pre-registration costs $ 30 for each race, or runners can take the CrossCountry Mortgage Challenge and take part in all four races to save $ 20.
